
Brandi Benedict is the resident trainer at SonRise Stables. Brandi is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist. She has had numerous regional and national placings on multiple horses. Her experience includes training horses from young prospects to the FEI levels. Brandi has the distinct talent of being able to cultivate the ability in each of her horses in a way that enhances their performance, while maintaining happy attitudes as they progress through the levels. Brandi has had the privilege of working with such notable trainers as Scott Hassler, Steffen Peters, Debbie McDonald, Anne Gribbons, Willy Arts, Michael Klimke, Ingo Pape, Linda Zang, Heidi Berry, and the late John Winnett.
Brandi's belief is that all horses can benefit from classical dressage training, whether it is a backyard pleasure horse or a budding FEI prospect. Brandi has extensive experience riding all types of horses in multiple disciplines and she has been very successful in the show ring.

- 2013 Third in Open Training Level at the US National Finals in Kentucky with Rebellienne HVH
- 2013 Region 1 GAIG Open Training Level Champion with Rebellienne HVH and 4th with Resplendent
- 2013 5th in the Open Region 1 GAIG First Level Championship with Syncopation
- 2013 9th overall in the 5 year old division with Don Frederic HVH at the Markel/USEF Young and Developing Horse National Championship in Chicago
- 2013 Selected to ride in the USDF Sport Horse Prospect Development Forum, sponsored by Devon and run by Scott Hassler and Ingo Pape, with Flygirl GCF in Boston, MA
- 2012 Champion at PSG at the BLM finals with Fenice
- 2012 Reserve Champion at I1 at the BLM finals with Fenice
- 2012 Winner of the Mary Beth McLean Memorial Trophy (given to the combination with the highest PSG/I1 average in the championships) with Fenice at the BLM finals
- 2012 Region 1 Open PSG GAIG finals Reserve Champion with Fenice
- 2012 placed first and third at Devon in the Four Year Old test with Syncopation - Syncopation was the reserve high scoring young horse at Devon in the young horse division
- 2012 placed 13th out of 38 horses with Fenice at Devon in the PSG
- 2012 2nd in warm-up and 10th overall in the 4 year old division with Syncopation at the Markel/USEF Young and Developing Horse National Championships, Chicago.
